As an Advanced Personal Trainer I am pleased to be able to offer ante-and postnatal exercise, strength training and wellbeing workouts.
Antenatal
If you are expecting, then I can devise exercises for you and with you which will help develop and sustain a level of strength and resilience in your muscles and joints which will assist in preparing you physically and mentally for the “big day” and life beyond. I will take into account your current and past activity levels, adapt for trimester you are currently in and importantly – see how you are feeling on the day!
Postnatal
After you have been given the ‘green light’ by your healthcare professional, we can work together to find the exact level and pace which suits you in recapturing your energy and strength following birth.
I will also discuss with you any “rehab” advised and work with you to phase it according to your individual requirements.
The areas we will address include:
Abdominal separation, pelvic floor strengthening, functional fitness and energy for running about after little ones, total body strength and flexibility and rebuilding your confidence!
